The Cobram Secondary College wellbeing staff are always on the lookout for new, innovative resources that may be useful to students. Please see below for a list of websites that cover a range of topics. Any students wanting advice on services or support site can visit the student services office to speak to a wellbeing staff member.

HEADSPACE

“Mental health support for youth aged between 12-25 years. On site locations in Wangaratta, Shepparton and Albury. Headspace in school also available for Cobram Secondary College students through the Wellbeing team. Headspace in schools amins to visit the school weekly with appointments with a headspace clinician.

BERRY STREET

Berry Street exists to help those experiencing poverty, violence and abuse, and to help families stay together in safe and healthy homes so they can create the future they imagine for themselves.

FAMILY CARE

Family Care offers family services, carer and disability support services to families and young people in Shepparton, Seymour, Cobram, Kinglake, Wallan, Alexandra, Kilmore and surrounding districts. Family Care is a registered NDIS provider.

 

 

THE BRIDGE YOUTH SERVICES

The Bridge is in Shepparton and aims to support Youth of our region. They can assist with housing, education support, family relationships, early intervention and pregnancy and parenting services.

 

CASA

The Goulburn Valley Centre Against Sexual  Assault is one of 15 Centres Against Sexual Assault throughout Victoria that provide services to victim/survivors of sexual assault, their non-offending family members, partners and friends.

 

GV MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE (crisis) VICTORIA

Goulburn Valley Area Mental Health Service provides an innovative range of services for individuals suffering from, or at risk of, serious mental health problems requiring short and long-term treatment and support.

Deniliquin Mental Health Service provides an innovative range of services for individuals suffering from, or at risk of, serious mental health problems requiring short and long-term treatment and support.
